•Cameras with predominantly host processing have a limited range of functions, such as USB 3 uEye+ XCP Rev. 1.2, USB 3 uEye+ XLE Rev. 1.2, or USB 3 uEye+ XLS Rev. 1.2.
•You can only use one camera.
•Only the RGB24 output format is supported.
•Host-based auto features are not supported.
•DirectShow uses a flipped coordinate system and therefore the sensor image must be flipped. You can flip the image in the DirectShow interface or using ReverseY. If the camera does not have ReverseY for flipping, the function in IDS peak IPL is used.
•For cameras with high frame rates, the subsequent DirectShow filter may not be able to process every image. These images are discarded.
•Some sensors in the uEye+ XCP USB 3 and uEye+ XLS USB 3 camera families do not have color gains in the sensor. For this reason, these cameras have a color cast (green) under DirectShow. Currently, this behavior cannot be fixed in DirectShow.
•You can use uEye cameras via the Directshow interface of IDS peak if uEye Transport Layer and IDS Software Suite 4.95 or higher are installed.
Alternatively, you can install the extended setup from IDS peak, which additionally contains the uEye camera drivers for UI models.
•Using GraphStudioNext, it is possible that the normal, automatically inserted video renderer only provides a white image. Use the "Enhanced Video Renderer" instead.
