The DirectShow interface is part of the IDS peak setup. Under Windows, you can select the DirectShow interface in the custom setup. Under Linux, the DirectShow interface is not available.
You must install IDS peak 2.9 or higher to use the DirectShow interface.
Installation under Windows
The DirectShow interface is not installed by default. If you want to install it, proceed as follows:
1.Start the IDS peak setup.
2.Select the “Custom” installation.
3.Enable the "DirectShow" option.

Note: The 32-bit and 64-bit filters are installed for the DirectShow interface if you run the setup on a 64-bit operating system. On a 32-bit operating system, only the 32-bit filter is installed.
