IDS Imaging Camera Features

The IDS imaging camera U3-31J0CP Rev.2.2 features a distinctive housing of only 29 x 29 mm and is equipped with the square Sony Pregius S CMOS sensor IMX546. This fourth-generation sensor combines Global Shutter and BSI (Backside Illumination) technology, which help to image moving objects without distortion and increase the sensor’s sensitivity to light.

It offers 8.13 MPix resolution and achieves 47.0 fps.

Since the pixel size is only 2.74 µm, the available area of the 2/3″ sensor (aspect ratio of 1:1) is utilised to the fullest – for superior image quality even in changing light conditions.The uEye+ CP camera is available as a monochrome or colour version.

Thanks to its USB3 vision interface, the imaging camera is uncompromisingly compliant to the Vision Standard and can therefore be conveniently used with our IDS peak SDK.
