The resolution of the sensor is 1.58 MPix (1456 x 1088 pixels) with a pixel size of 3.45 µm, its frame rate is 79.0 fps. The GV-5040FA (protection code IP65/67) can thus be used, for example, in safety technology for detailed evaluations in the area of quality assurance or for traffic monitoring and license plate recognition.
GigE Vision Standard is a global interface standard for cameras made by all manufacturers, and is based on the Gigabit Ethernet communication protocol. The IDS camera firmware uses the mbed TLS library (Copyright © 2006-2015, ARM Limited, All Rights Reserved) under the Apache license, version 2.0 (http://www.apache.org/licenses).
