New in version 4.97
IDS Software Suite 4.97 is the last version of the IDS Software Suite software. This version contains bug fixes to ensure that you can continue to use the software under Windows 11. IDS Software Suite 4.97 is therefore only available for the Windows operating system.
We recommend upgrading to our latest software development kit IDS peak. In addition to the new Vision Standard-compliant uEye Vision camera models with the uEye Transport Layer, IDS peak also supports our proven uEye cameras (matchcode “UI-”).

Cameras & functions
•The operating systems Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 are no longer supported, as Microsoft has discontinued its support for these operating systems
•Minor bug fixes have been made for UI-388x/UI-588x under Windows.
•Enhancement Direct Show Interface: With the "boot boost" option in DirectShow, you can keep cameras open even if you are not actively using individual cameras, e.g. if you are switching between several open cameras.
