IDS peak 2.15.0 / uEye+ firmware 3.54

Returns the number of discarded frames since last acquisition start. It is not reset until the stream is closed. A discarded frame is a filled frame that was discarded by the GenTL implementation. The GenTL discards frames in the buffer handling mode "NewestOnly".
