Besides the automatic image control in the camera, algorithms for exposure, gain and white balance also exist in IDS peak. The host-based functions can be used if the camera itself does not have automatic image control (e.g. uEye+ XLS USB 3 or uEye+ XCP USB 3).

You do not need to request an AccessStatus for the auto functions. However, make sure not to use the same auto functions in the camera and in the IDS peak at the same time. |
